Baby dragon

Hellooo...I'm back from my blogging mini-break! It wasn't a break by choice, but isn't it a pain when life just gets in the way of the fun stuff? Anyway, great to be back in the creative zone and I have managed to hook up something at least.

This little baby dragon is so cute, I couldn't resist when I found this pattern. He only took an afternoon to make, which is great, I love it when I can FINISH something since I am the queen of WIP's, lol.

Happy Easter!

I hope everybody had a lovely long weekend and enjoyed a hot cross bun or two and maybe a few choccy eggs, or more than a few ;)

Pretty things this week

Amineko Cat

I have made my first Amineko Cat! He has been in the works for awhile, so close to being finished then I got distracted and left him in a pile of bits...but last night I stitched him together,gave him a cute face and now here he is!

 

 

What a cutie-pie, gee I love him so much already :)

Crochet obsession....much!

Crochet is taking over my life! No day is complete without a bit of 'hooky' time and the following photos are just a few of the things I've made recently. Not to mention the amigurumi cat I have had laying around with no legs for the past month....no we couldn't have photos of him on here, noooooo!

Happy Owl

Who doesn't love owls? They are everywhere these days, but why not! Here is a happy little chap that I made over the weekend from Bunny Mummy's pattern  and he is now flying his way to my Mam in law in Ireland. I will have to make more, because I want one now haha...if I had babies I think they could become a great mobile hanging from a branch, maybe with a cloud or two as well!

Purple flowers and a mossy rabbit

The supermarket has been kind to me this week. Firstly in the Easter section I fell in love with the mossy rabbit, so he came home with me. Then I treated myself to a bunch of beautiful Iris flowers, aren't they divine?! I adore the colour combination of purple and yellow and I think the mossy rabbit does too ;)

 

I am getting excited about Easter and easter decorating. It is my favourite time of the year...bunnies, chocolate and hot cross buns, what's not to love. Oh and how can I forget the pastel colours!

Looking so forward to all the easter projects that should be popping up on the blogs over the next few weeks.
