Pretty little shelves

It seems that no home is complete without a little house shaped shadow box. I couldn't help but jump on the bandwagon,giving my $2 op shop find a pretty makeover. The paint colour is called 'Holey Moley' from brittish paints( I think?) and I have used it for a few projects so far, love it. I have lined the little shelves with paper from Typo, which is in fact reprints of vintage fabric, so lovely and the perfect colour pallette for me.

 

 Now I just need to find a few more tiny things to display.

New old pretty wallpaper

Thank you ETSY!  I've received some real goodies in the mail recently including these beautiful pieces of vintage wallpaper. I have been looking at these so often but what to make with them???? I'd love an old cupboard type thing or a small display cabinet to use these papers on. Something where they can shine and be in the limelight....I'll just have to keep trawling the op shops :)

Baby dragon

Hellooo...I'm back from my blogging mini-break! It wasn't a break by choice, but isn't it a pain when life just gets in the way of the fun stuff? Anyway, great to be back in the creative zone and I have managed to hook up something at least.

This little baby dragon is so cute, I couldn't resist when I found this pattern. He only took an afternoon to make, which is great, I love it when I can FINISH something since I am the queen of WIP's, lol.

I hope everybody had a lovely long weekend and enjoyed a hot cross bun or two and maybe a few choccy eggs, or more than a few ;)

Pretty things this week

Amineko Cat

I have made my first Amineko Cat! He has been in the works for awhile, so close to being finished then I got distracted and left him in a pile of bits...but last night I stitched him together,gave him a cute face and now here he is!

 

 

What a cutie-pie, gee I love him so much already :)

Crochet obsession....much!

Crochet is taking over my life! No day is complete without a bit of 'hooky' time and the following photos are just a few of the things I've made recently. Not to mention the amigurumi cat I have had laying around with no legs for the past month....no we couldn't have photos of him on here, noooooo!
